Are you looking …..

·     To hire young adults ages 16-21 for seasonal or permanent work?

·     To meet young adults who are anxious and ready to work?

·     For an environment that simplifies your recruitment process?

·     For a place to reach out to a group of young people who might be considering careers in your field or industry?

If so, then join us for the 2nd annual Let’s Get It Started, Montgomery County’s job fair for youth ages 16-21.

Sponsored by the County’s Workforce Investment Board's Youth Council, Let’s Get It Started will provide you with an opportunity to conduct on-site interviews and offer information about jobs and career tracks in your industry and/or business.  This is an excellent opportunity to meet face to face with the area’s youth who are looking for jobs and are ready to work.

Scheduled for Saturday, April14, 2007, at the Montgomery College Rockville Campus Gymnasium, Let’s Get It Started is a partnership of the Workforce Investment Board, the LAYC/Maryland Multicultural Youth Centers, Montgomery County Public Schools, Montgomery Works One Stop Career Center, the county’s Department of Economic Development and numerous youth service organizations.

As a participating business or organization, there is no charge or fee for this year’s event.  You will be provided with one (1) six-foot table, two chairs, a complimentary lunch for two and young people who are prepared to be interviewed.  We have a well thought out, organized marketing and outreach campaign in place to ensure the success of this event. The only thing we ask in return is your commitment to come ready to hire; with open seasonal or permanent positions.

If this sounds like something of interest to you, simply fill out the attached confirmation form and return to Luis Quinones by email at arturo@layc-dc.org or by fax at 301.585.0115.

If you need more information or have questions, just contact me at 301.495.0441 ext. 222.  The Let’s Get it Started team is looking forward to having you participate in this Montgomery County’s job fair for its youth.
